Little Roy runs down the walkway
Hidden between the trees and bushes.
He sobs his pain out from a fray,
As emotions escape his clutches.

"Why," he sobs, "just tell me why
Do I have to feel this pain?
Why should I feel lonely and shy
And run here alone in the rain?"

He cried some more but to no avail,
No one came to ease his grief.
In his best friend's eye he did fail
And Roy would never find in that relief.

"I failed my friend," he cried.
"I failed to be understanding"
"I feel a part of me has died"
"I'm a war plane toy with no landing"

A bunch of war toys scatter his room,
A décor of an innocent child.

Have you ever cared for someone,
You'd die if you make him sad?
You'd rather burn in the sun
And it would never feel this bad.

You give and give and never ask back,
And you refuse because it won't feel right.
But all you do is burden your sack,
And drop another straw on your plight.

You keep your silence and your smiles
When the one you care for begins to scold.
Then you walk away the miles
Alone in the damp streets and cold.

You think of how to set things back
To the way they were supposed to be.
But all you do is to lose track
Of your emotions in the open sea.

And then your thoughts drag you down

Aether is the fifth element to the classical four elements, and is also known as quintessence. In Ancient Greece, quintessence is achieved when all the elements harmoniously combined (as shown by straight lines) to converge into this pure "element".
