Can you believe it? I cracked up at the office when I read it! Head over to the links section for more on it.
Yesterday I went to watch
300, and it is safe to say that the movie does not disappoint a little. The sound track is awesome, the graphics, effect, and even the now overused slo-mo all look great. I am going to go watch it again today, I can't get enough!
Things are not looking good at the office, but that's just typical. I just hate it when the boss bugs me on what did I do in each and every hour of the working day. I fill time sheets, you see, and I need to fill in how many hours I spent on each project, since each project has a different cost center. I know this is tedious, but the unforgiving part is that there are inevitable "free" times where I do nothing, and since I have to put them in a project so I get paid, I get caught in the middle of a little war between the project managers on who will volunteer to give me those hours off the project.
Stupid company politics.
The week has also been grim in other things... the weather is awful. A heat wave followed by a cold wave followed by a heat wave. I don't know what to wear anymore, and people are getting all sorts of flu.
And my extended's cousin's uncle died also, earlier this week. Terrible thing, he is devastated and I don't know how to console him, especially that he is a non-believer so any religious or holy approach is not going to work.
But enough grimness, I am looking towards this week and the weekend. I'm going car-sand-surfing, gonna try my new 4x4

Hopefully I won't flip over, the sand dunes here are full of surprises. My friend was car-sand-surfing the other weekend and apparently there was a "hollow" piece of sand and the whole thing collapsed under the car. He didn't get injured, but he's still scavenging sand out of the car

hehe
I'm off now - and for all of those who are going to attend Shakira tonight at the Autodrome... it is gonna be hot (weather-wise) and with 25K attendees and all the lights... woof!
i got two tickets for shakira's.. but i ain't cool enough to go.
and speaking about them off hours with no cost center, they go to the slack/scratch-belly cost center dude.. yesterday an assbag from the finance department of our company in UK called me to tell me that i got pending timesheets, and that only took place during my one hour nap.. assbag.
300 - next weekend.
wot new car did you get?
I thought you knew what car I had
